Dolly Pentreath (b.1692-d.1777) is reputed to have been the last monoglot speaker of the Cornish Language.

In this unit pupils;

  • interrogate historical sources to decide who is the last speaker of the Cornish language

  • greet others and interact in Cornish

  • enjoy and participate in traditional and contemporary Cornish songs and dances
