The Hurlers, Lanyon Quoit and Men-an-Tol are just some of the ancient monuments which have their own mysterious superstitions and legends.

In this unit pupils;

  • Visit natural tors and man-made ancient monuments.

  • build their own stone circle, quoit or standing stone

  • draw on Cornish legends to devise and tell a legend about their stone monument
