Archaeologist and antiquarian Mr JT Blight was fascinated by fogous: ancient underground chambers unique to Cornwall. Archaeologists today still debate their purpose.

In this unit pupils ;

visit an archaeological site where they 'bump' into Mr Blight, a character from the past
design and make their own historic replica artefacts
carry out a mock archaeological excavation, identify and exhibit their 'finds' to create their very own 'class museum'
