Why did thousands of Cornish people rise up against an English King?

Michael Joseph, An Gof (the blacksmith) was the leader of an uprising in 1497.
In this unit pupils;
- interrogate historical sources to decide why people protested
- use the up-rising of 1497 as a dramatic setting for their own time-slip story
- design a memorial to the event and people involved
